Aletheia Ko Music Studio

Aletheia Ko Music Studio is the piano teaching practice of Aletheia Ko, listed at 506 Bedok North Avenue 3 and contactable on 9327 9694. Ko trained at conservatoire level in two countries: a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Royal College of Music in London in 2014, and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2020. She has taught since 2012 - hundreds of students, from young beginners through to advanced players, in both individual and group settings - and prepares students for ABRSM examinations up to diploma level. Her own playing spans the standard repertoire across periods as well as pop favourites, which she transcribes by ear for her students, and she encourages them into recitals and competitions; she has herself performed as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist in the United States, the United Kingdom and Singapore, and has judged piano competitions in the US and Singapore. That judging and performance background is the studio's distinguishing mark: lessons come from someone who also sits on the other side of the competition table. The directory profile is brief, so lesson formats, current fees and availability are confirmed directly with the studio.
