Baby Angel Music Studio - MYC Aljunied is a music school at MusArt Co-Create, 26 Lor 27A Geylang, offering Music for Young Children (MYC®) group classes, individual piano lessons, music theory lessons and adult programmes. The studio is the MYC® Aljunied licence operator, formerly MYC® East Coast, and was founded by director Ms Taly Yap.
Lessons and programmes
- Music for Young Children (MYC®) - a licensed Canadian curriculum with Sunrise (2-3 years), Sunshine (3-4), Sunbeams (5-6) and Moonbeams (7-12) programmes. MYC® piano classes lead students towards their first piano and theory exams.
- Individual piano lessons - 1-to-1 lessons for kids and adults, from beginners to advanced learners, including exam preparation, performance opportunities and DSA preparation.
- Beginner Group Adult Piano - a 12-week foundation course in small groups of 2 to 6, designed for older adults and seniors with no music background.
- Music theory lessons - for students preparing for Grade 1 to 8 theory exams and music enthusiasts.
- Sing for Joy! - adult leisure singing lessons with vocal-guitar teacher Mr Alan Chew.

Yes. Music theory lessons cover notation, key signatures, scales, intervals, rhythm and basic harmony for students preparing for Grade 1 to 8 theory exams. The syllabus takes a minimum of 6 months.
Yes. The 1-to-1 lessons cover all levels from beginner to advanced, including exam preparation, performance opportunities and DSA preparation.
MYC® deposit refunds apply only when the child has completed the full level of 36 lessons and given termination notice by Lesson 33. Term fees are not refundable.
The deposit is used to offset the final month fees after a 1-month termination notice. Leaving mid-programme without notice means paid fees are not refunded and the deposit is forfeited.
