Chinese Instrumental Music School

Chinese Instrumental Music School teaches traditional Chinese instruments at Our Tampines Hub, 1 Tampines Walk, #B1-22, Singapore 528523, reachable on 65 8684 6233 or 65 9649 9412 and info.cimusicschool@gmail.com. Its instruments span guzheng, erhu, dizi, pipa, zhongruan, suona, hulusi and yangqin, with lessons for beginners, intermediate players and professional musicians alike. The guzheng is presented as a beginner-friendly starting point with elegant sound and pre-tuned strings, suited to solo or orchestral playing, while the erhu builds expression through bowing technique and instrument care, and the dizi offers a bright, humming tone shaped by its reed membrane, fitted to each student in various sizes. Students are described as valuing knowledgeable, friendly and patient teachers, a learning-conducive environment and chances to perform. Opening hours are by appointment Monday to Friday and nine to six on Saturday and Sunday. The school's enquiry form lists the full instrument choice, from guzheng and erhu to suona, hulusi and yangqin, so families can name their instrument when reserving a slot.
