Claudia Teaches Piano (Punggol Waterway Sunrise 2)

Behind the Popping Piano name sits Teacher Claudia, teaching one-to-one piano from Punggol Drive in the Waterway Sunrise 2 area, and her background explains why the studio leans so heavily on patience and individual pace. She holds an ATCL in piano performance from Trinity College of London, Grade 8 piano practical and music theory from ABRSM, a Bachelor in Music Education with Management from SUSS, a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology from Singapore Polytechnic, and a Diploma in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oregon, and she is a MOE AMIS certified instructor. Since 2017 she has taught music enrichment in childcare centres, kindergartens, and primary and secondary schools, covering music and movement, songwriting, GarageBand, ukulele, guitar, cajon, STOMP, handbells, boomwhackers, keyboard, and show choir, which gives her piano teaching a wider classroom grounding than a single-instrument CV usually shows. Her stated approach is dedication and encouragement, tailoring the piano curriculum to each student, building fundamentals without pressure, and letting students progress at their own speed until obstacles turn into enjoyment. Contact runs through WhatsApp only, and a trial fee is offset against the first monthly payment when a student signs up within a week of the trial, so the trial doubles as a low-risk first meeting rather than a separate sales step.
