Drumstruck Studios

Drumstruck Studios starts younger than any drum school in Singapore, and that early start is its calling card. Based at #04-15 Funan, 107 North Bridge Road it was the first in Singapore to offer drum lessons to children as young as 3, and it now teaches learners aged 3 to 65 in drums, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. Drum courses follow the Rockschool UK syllabus from Debut to Grade 8, with a pace the school maps out plainly: Debut and Grades 1 to 3 in six to twelve months, Grades 4 and 5 in nine to twelve months, and Grades 6 to 8 in twelve to eighteen months, depending on pace and commitment. Beginners learn posture, grip, and footwork, the 40 Percussive Arts Society rudiments, and graded examination pieces, while advanced players apply rudiments as grooves and fills in funk, fusion, Latin, hip-hop, and world styles, improvise, and solo. Every course builds six core skills: performance, technical ability, sight reading, improvisation, aural skills, and musicianship knowledge. Lessons are personalised in individual or group settings, taught in acoustically treated studios on professional-grade gear, with free studio practice time outside class. The school reports a 100 percent Rockschool exam pass record, Berklee College of Music admissions, and competition wins, and trial lessons are booked through its contact page or WhatsApp.
