Echo Isle by Mina Music

Mandopop singing, taught as its own discipline rather than generic vocal coaching, is what Echo Isle by Mina Music offers from its shopfront at Bijou, 4 Jalan Mat Jambol, #01-01, near Pasir Panjang MRT. Founder Mina Du shapes every lesson: she holds a Master of Education (Music) from NIE/NTU, received in June 2025, a Bachelor of Music Performance from Tianjin Normal University, and a Senior High Music Teacher qualification from China, after close to a hundred stage performances including the Tianjin Grand Theatre Chorus. Her Mina Music Method organises Mandopop learning into twenty-six themes across five movements: Breath and Foundation, Resonance, Mixed Voice, the Mandopop Signature, and Expression and Stage, covering breath, resonance, mixes, roar and distortion, operatic colour, vibrato, runs, diction, pitch, and stagecraft. Students learn two ways: Private Coaching, one-to-one or one-to-two and shaped around the student's voice and goals, including wedding or performance preparation, and Studio Sessions, theme-based classes of up to eight taught in Mandarin, with no fixed order, so each learner picks the theme they need next. Progress is tracked through in-lesson feedback, take-home practice, optional recordings, and a planned student sharing concert. A trial lesson begins with the songs the student loves, beginners are welcome, and contact runs through WhatsApp on 8902 6013 or hello@minamusic.sg; drivers set Bijou as the destination.
