Finger Waltz Music Productions

Finger Waltz Music Productions is the events and production arm of Finger Waltz Music, and its Katong base doubles as a teaching school. From 865 Mountbatten Road, Katong Shopping Centre, #02-46, Singapore 437844, it organises the annual Singapore International Classical Piano Competition, whose eighth edition runs in 2026, alongside concerts and masterclasses. The school's own site lists a Rising Start Concert on 29 October at The Arts House and a masterclass with Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski on 1 November at the Katong branch. Singapore preliminary auditions for the competition are held in the school's own recital studio, on a Steinway and Sons Model A grand piano, with the final round staged at the Lee Foundation Theatre. The parent school, founded in 2014 by Dr. Wu Yang, teaches piano and violin at the same Katong premises. Piano lessons follow materials designed for the ABRSM syllabus, covering fingering, theory, sight-reading, aural and practical skills, with customised lessons for adults learning pop songs or playing for leisure. Violin lessons welcome children and adults. Lessons are individually customised and one-to-one, from beginner to diploma level, teachers are professionally trained conservatory graduates, students perform in a concert every three months in the recital studio, and a free trial lesson is offered subject to available slots.
