Funkie Monkies Productions

Funkie Monkies Productions is the production house behind FM Pop Music School, and the two listings share a home: 406 Joo Chiat Place, #04-21, Singapore 428084, in Joo Chiat. Where the school listing carries the teaching detail, this listing carries the company behind it — the Funkie Monkies name under which Mandopop makers Eric Ng, Xiaohan and Jim Lim run their pop music operation, with mm2 Asia as a strategic partner and affiliations to The Songwriter Music College, Funkie Monkies Publishing and Funkie Monkies Entertainment. Its stated vision is to discover and 'Write the Song in You', grooming local talent and giving students a platform for their musical aspirations, with lessons customised to each individual's pace and performance and recording opportunities for students. Named supporters include Warner Chappell Music and artists Wakin Chau, Jason Zhang, Jonathan Lee and Khalil Fong, and students of all ages are welcome. One practical difference from the school listing is the phone number: this listing gives 6803 5092, while the school listing gives 8824 0146. The company's own website, fmmusic.com.sg, currently shows only a maintenance notice directing visitors to the FM Pop Music School site for the latest information. The Funkie Friends offer — 10% off for everyone when you enrol with a friend — is also recorded here.
