Genevieve Toh Singing & Vocal Coaching

Genevieve Toh Singing & Vocal Coaching is a one-to-one voice practice in Singapore's Orchard area, led by a former contemporary songwriter and gigging musician in New York City. Her clients have included singers, songwriters, bands, audition candidates, competitors, recording artists, performers, podcasters, public speakers, DJs and corporate executives, from beginners to advanced professionals. She teaches across pop, rock, R&B, classical, folk and musical theatre, and she draws a clear line between voice lessons, which build technique such as range, flexibility, mixed voice and belt production, and vocal coaching, which prepares singers for shows, auditions or the studio with stage presence, microphone technique, repertoire and audition song selection. In-person lessons are held at her Orchard-area studio, served by the Orchard, Orchard Boulevard and Napier MRT stations with free parking; online lessons are also available. No audition is required to begin. Genevieve is a member of ASCAP and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and an alumnus of New York Vocal Coaching's Teacher Training Program. Her published rates are SGD 180 per hour for individually booked lessons and SGD 200 per hour for regularly occurring lessons, there is typically a waiting list, and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full lesson fee.
