Guitar Movement SG (Guitar Academy & Guitar Repair)

At Block 163 Bukit Merah Central, #03-3595, Guitar Movement SG combines a specialist guitar academy with a guitar repair centre. Founded in 2022 as a home-based studio, it has grown into an eight-hundred-square-foot space with three dedicated classrooms for individual and group lessons. One-to-one lessons run sixty minutes and are tailored to the student, covering acoustic, electric, bass and ukulele alongside music theory and music production, for beginners through advanced players of all ages. Group lessons are offered for friends and family learning together, and the academy prepares students for graded examinations with recognised boards Trinity and Rockschool. The teaching team is described on the academy's site as experienced musicians and educators with qualifications from accredited music institutions, working in a welcoming atmosphere where students build technique and confidence at their own pace. The same premises handle guitar maintenance and repair, from restringing, cleaning and setup through electronics work, fret levelling and crowning, and hardware modifications, plus retail of guitars, amplifiers, effect pedals and accessories. Students also get performance opportunities and preferential rates on repair and maintenance, and new students can arrange a sixty-minute trial lesson.
