Guitar Workshop

Guitar Workshop is a guitar shop and repair business at 231 Bain Street, #03-09, in Bras Basah Complex, and it describes itself as serving Singapore's music community since 1980. The shop calls itself the first 'down-to-earth' music store, serving the local and regional music community at a personal level, from aspiring musicians to seasoned professionals. This is a retail and workshop business, not a lesson school: its work is repairing, restoring and customising guitars, alongside selling instruments through its store. The repair bench handles custom setups, precision adjustments and restoration work, and the shop claims more than one hundred thousand custom setups, repairs and precision adjustments completed. Vintage and modern instruments are a speciality, with the shop's own published customer reviews describing neck and truss-rod work on decades-old instruments that other repairers had declined, plus nut replacement and scratch removal. Alongside the workshop, the store sells guitars and related products. The shop phone is 6733 4106.
