Looking for piano lessons Singapore families can rely on? Harmony & Pitch is a music school at 9 King Albert Park in Bukit Timah, teaching piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, viola and vocal to students of all ages and abilities since 2017.
Lessons and programmes
- Piano: ABRSM and Trinity College London (TCL) grades and diplomas, leisure learning, and jazz and improvisation.
- Guitar and ukulele: acoustic guitar, electric guitar and ukulele, in individual and group classes.
- Violin and viola: beginner to advanced, including ABRSM and TCL preparation.
- Vocal: breathing, vocal range, diction and expression, for students from age 5 to adults.
- ABRSM/TCL exam preparation: Grades 1 to 8 in 30, 45 or 60 minute one-to-one weekly lessons covering theory, scales, sight-reading, aural and practical work.
- Harmony Kids: a music foundation programme for children aged 4 to 5.
- Music for Seniors: lessons for adults aged 55 and above.
Why students choose Harmony & Pitch
Every student begins with a personal consultation to understand their needs and learning style (VAK), and a personalised music programme is built from it. Students can choose an exam-focused or leisure course, a performance-focused or improvisation course, or a mix.
The Music Programme Director, Carolyn Ming Ming Hii, holds a music degree and GTCL from Trinity College of Music, London, with close to 30 years of teaching experience. Students also get chances to perform at student recitals and concerts.
