About the studio
Huilei Musician Education is a sister institution of Huilei Art School, a well-known violin-specialised school founded in 1986. The studio is led by Programme Director and international violinist Ms Fang Meichen, who founded Huilei Art School and has served as a judge at international violin competitions. Her classes draw on her experience as a concert performer and as an instructor at overseas institutions of higher education.
The studio also features Ms Yang Yalin, an international violinist and MOE-registered CCA/Performing Arts Instructor (Ensemble-String). She holds a Master of Music in violin from the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music, Ukraine, and a Bachelor of Music from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, China, and has taught violin professionally since 2007.
