Ivanessence

Ivanessence is a directory listing with a puzzle at its centre: the row gives a contact number, 9066 0210, and links to the website itsivan.com, but the directory's own category list names woodwind, vocal, violin and cello, with no guitar anywhere in it. Open that linked website and a different picture emerges, because itsivan.com presents Ivan Lim as a classical guitarist, performer and instructor, complete with concert listings and a judging and performing role at the SEA Guitar Festival and Performance Awards in Bangkok in May 2025. A separate arts listing for his free Open Studio sessions describes intimate, discussion-led evenings for newcomers to the classical guitar, open to enthusiasts from 12 years old, held at the artist's residence in the west of Singapore. Whether Ivanessence is Ivan Lim's teaching brand, and where lessons take place, is never stated outright, and the listing page itself returned only a title and a phone number on two fetches, so enquirers should call first and confirm exactly what is taught before assuming anything from the category list.
