Jenny Soh Music School

Jenny Soh Music School, at 5 Dedap Link, Singapore 809550 in the Yio Chu Kang area, is built around one teacher with a long, exam-focused record. The school says Teacher Jenny holds a Master of Arts in music from the Johannes Brahms Music Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Wales, has more than 20 years of piano teaching experience, and won first prize in the La Pianista International piano competition in 2021. Piano lessons run from beginners to diploma level, with diploma syllabuses from Trinity, ABRSM and the London College of Music, and the school reports 15 years of diploma teaching. Alongside piano, it runs a one-year, 44-lesson music theory crash course for grades 1 to 5, grades 6 to 8 or AmusTCL diploma, with its own guide book, and says its students score highly in theory exams. Lessons are offered for children and adults, with free group masterclasses, and concerts are organised twice a year, including at the Esplanade library and Steinway Gallery Singapore. A piano recording service for exam submissions uses a Knabe and Co. grand piano and a professional Shure microphone. Contact is 9825 6286 or pianoplaying@yahoo.com.
