Karina's Piano Lessons

Karina's Piano Lessons is the teaching practice of Ms Karina Lou, an established music educator whose own site lists a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music from Goldsmiths, University of London and a Master of Music Education from Singapore's National Institute of Education. She teaches ABRSM practical and theory from beginner to Grade 8, along with diploma studies, aural training and music history, and is comfortable preparing students for examinations or teaching purely for enjoyment. Lessons are individualised and crafted to help students learn efficiently and perform well, and her stated research interests extend to music education and music therapy for individuals with autism. Teaching takes place at her piano studio, which houses a Steinway & Sons M grand piano measuring 5 feet 7 inches, tuned and regulated, in an air-conditioned room with good acoustics. The studio is also available for rental for performance examinations. No studio address or fee schedule is published on her site, so enquiries go through the contact page or the directory phone number.
