Luthier.sg (Home-Based Business)

Luthier.sg is a home-based guitar workshop in Toa Payoh, and its character is closer to a craftsman's bench than to a classroom. The site is built around one maker, Wayne Lim, and notes a Straits Times interview about his path to becoming a go-to person for guitar problems. What the workshop actually does is spelled out in a long services list: acoustic pickup installation, assembly, brace repair, broken-headstock repair, electronics replacement, fret dressing, guitar setup and restring, hardware replacement, nut and saddle replacement, pickup replacement, refinishing, refretting, reglue binding, and repair of instruments, amps, pedals and more. Two named lines sit alongside the repairs: Wayne's handwound pickups and Wayne Lim guitars, plus a custom-pickup enquiry route over WhatsApp. Lessons are present but secondary, with classical, electric and jazz lessons credited on the site to Edward Rainier. The address given on the site and in the directory is 191 Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, Singapore 310191, with phone 9744 0318 and contact@luthier.sg, and the live listing marks it as a Verified Partner.
