Ms Chua | Punggol Piano Teacher

Ms Chua teaches piano from her home studio in Punggol, and her own website sets out a clear, experience-led offer for families. She holds an ABRSM Diploma in Piano Teaching with Distinction, an ABRSM Diploma in Piano Performance, and Grade 8 in both Practical and Music Theory, with over ten years of teaching experience. Her approach builds a strong foundation through creative teaching, musical games, and interactive activities, plus group classes, rehearsals, recitals, excursions, and other studio events. Trial lessons let both sides check fit and, for younger children, assess readiness. Ages three to five blend music appreciation and piano through singing, movement, rhythm games, aural training, and introductory playing. Adults are welcome, with no age limit stated. Lessons run Monday to Thursday and Saturday to Sunday; the studio is eight minutes on foot from Punggol MRT Exit D and three minutes from Soo Teck LRT Exit B, exact address shared on trial confirmation. On exams, Ms Chua is explicit: there is no need to take an exam at every grade, and she generally recommends Grades 3, 5, and 8, treating performances, festivals, and competitions as equally valuable milestones. A keyboard suffices for the first few months for very young beginners; she then recommends an acoustic or quality digital piano. Contact is 8793 0397 or hello@misschuapiano.com.
