Music LifeStyle Academy LLP

Music LifeStyle Academy is a music school offering piano lessons Singapore families and adults can attend at 616 & 616A Serangoon Road, near Boon Keng and Serangoon. The academy teaches children from age 3 and above, individually and in groups, from beginner to Diploma level, and is an accredited ABRSM examination centre.

Lessons and programmes

• Piano for children, teenagers and adults: beginners, returning learners and advanced students, for leisure or graded exams.
• Young Musician Course for children from around 3 years old, covering keyboard, solfege, rhythm, movement, percussion and music reading, with Encore on Keys Junior (about 4 to 5 years) and Primary (about 5.5 to 8 years).
• Other courses: violin, viola, cello, guitar, harmonica, pipa, vocal, music theory, ensemble lessons and music composing.
• Academic pathways: MEP, IGCSE Music and IB Music programmes.
• ABRSM preparation from Grade 1 through Diploma level, including repertoire, scales, sight-reading and aural skills.

The academy was set up to share music as a way of life, not only for examinations. Lessons can be customised to each student's age, ability, goals and practice time, and students are given performing opportunities such as public recitals and charity concerts. The teaching team is led by Principal Kellyn Quek (BA Hons Mus, Kingston University London) together with Dr Ayke Agus.
