Music Singapore International Competition

The Music Singapore International Competition is an annual stage for young musicians aged four and up, not a weekly lesson school. Now in its sixth year, the 2026 edition welcomes participants from across Asia and beyond, and it has grown from solo categories into ensembles, choirs and an expanding range of instruments and disciplines. For 2026, preliminary rounds run live or by video submission, followed by a fully in-person final round in Singapore. An international panel of judges and advisory members hears each contestant, and the organisers stress thoughtful, constructive comments so every entrant leaves with something useful for their learning. ABRSM appears as a supporting partner. Winners of the 2026 edition are invited to the Gala Concert and Awarding Ceremony, with reporting at Lee Foundation Theatre on 19 July 2026. The competition's contact point is 1 Rochor Canal Road, #06-02 Music Event Section, Sim Lim Square, and enquiries go through phone number 8855 1019 or the competition website.
