Orchard Music Academy

Orchard Music Academy is a Japanese early-childhood music school at 20 Devonshire Road, near Somerset station in the Orchard area, where it uses rooms at the Coco-Ro Learning House. Founded by professional harpist Yuko Tomonaga, who has performed in more than ten countries and taught in four, the school builds its teaching around solfege, rhythmics, and Japanese children's songs, with live harp and piano sound at the heart of its classes rather than recordings. Classes stay small and boutique-style, with the curriculum customised to the children in the room. Age-grouped early-childhood foundation classes run on Fridays, covering Baby, Toddler, and foundation levels, and a piano introduction class joined the timetable on Wednesdays from April 2026. Children aged up to three attend with a parent, so a first class can feel reassuring for families new to music lessons. Trial lessons are offered, and enquiries go to info@orchardmusicacademy.com or the school's official LINE account.
