Passion Vocal Studio offers vocal lessons in Singapore for singers and speakers, from beginners to professionals. This is the studio's Lavender location, at Blk 465 North Bridge Road (Eight Tones Music School), about a 7-8 minute walk from Lavender MRT Station. The studio was founded in 2008 and specialises in the mix voice, so singers can move from the bottom to the top of their range without an abrupt change in voice quality.
Lessons and programmes
- Private vocal lessons: one-to-one lessons with customised exercises. Beginners work on pitch accuracy, chest, head and mix voice, connecting the whole range, projection and singing with less strain. Experienced singers work on range, control, vibrato, dynamics and stylistic choices.
- Speech and voice projection: private lessons for teachers, trainers, sales personnel, emcees and tour guides, covering optimal pitch, speaking rate, breath and muscle balance, plus voice workshops for corporate teams on request.
- In-person or online: lessons can be held in the studio or over Zoom.
Fees
The studio publishes a trial / a-la-carte rate of S$90 for a half-hour and S$180 for one hour. Vocal packages (2-hour, 4-hour and Buy-10-Get-2-Free) are also offered, and speech lessons start at S$160 for two half-hour sessions. See the studio's website for current prices and package validity.
Why students choose Passion Vocal Studio
The main vocal coach is founder Alice Wong, a former Speech Level Singing (SLS) certified instructor (2009-2013) who reached Mentor Level with the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) in 2019 and earned the Advanced Vocal Coach certificate from Modern Vocal Training (MVT) in 2026. Lessons are tailored to each voice rather than run as cookie-cutter classes.
Location and booking
Alice coaches at Lavender on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and at a second studio in Jurong West on Thursdays to Saturdays.
