Paul Piano Studio

Paul Piano Studio offers one-to-one piano lessons from a home studio at 317A Anchorvale Road, #12-226, Singapore 541317, taught by Paul Ng. His own site states 52 years of teaching experience, beginning at age 20, with ABRSM Grade 8, a Licentiate Teacher's Diploma from Trinity College London and a Yamaha Teacher Certificate. The teaching is personalised to each student's learning style, with attention to technique, sight-reading, improvisation and transposition, plus extra coaching in weak areas and customised exercises. Students range from young beginners to adults working at advanced levels, and the site reports a track record of students scoring Merit and Distinction in ABRSM exams. Lessons run as four weekly 60-minute sessions per month, with monthly pricing that varies by ABRSM level from elementary through diploma. The studio positions itself against larger chain schools by offering individual attention rather than a standardised group curriculum, and it stresses creativity beyond exam preparation.
