Piano Teacher Carol Chen | Marine Parade

Carol's Music Studio is Carol Chen's Marine Parade home studio, where she has taught piano in Singapore since 2017. Lessons take place at 45 Marine Crescent, Singapore 440045, a ten-minute walk from TE27 Marine Terrace MRT station, on a grand piano. Her stated focus is a good musical ear alongside technique: recognising notes, chords, rhythms and patterns by listening, plus sight-reading, interpretation, harmony and improvisation, with each lesson tailored to the student's goals. The site offers leisure and pop piano lessons that combine classical foundations with contemporary piano skills, welcoming complete beginners, returning players and students wanting to expand their playing, with the first lesson used to discuss musical background and aspirations before designing an approach. Carol began piano at age five, has composed and arranged for musical plays and concerts, played for church and wedding audiences, accompanied pop bands and led a choir; she also has Child-Centred Play Therapy and Music Therapy training and is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. To enquire, the site invites contact for a trial lesson by email at chen.jinci@gmail.com or by phone on 8600 1114, matching the number on the directory listing. Fees, age ranges, lesson lengths and exam pathways are not stated on the site, so those must be confirmed directly.
