Lessons and programmes
- Baby Violin Star Program - a gentle introduction to the violin for children aged 4 to 5, with 30-minute individual lessons or 60-minute group lessons once a week.
- Rising Star Violin Program - for students aged 5 to 15, with 45 or 60 minute individual lessons, masterclasses and performance opportunities, following a Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Paganini class pathway from Grade 1 to pre-diploma.

Common questions.
Children can usually start from around 4 to 5 years old, depending on physical readiness, attention span and interest. Each child is assessed individually. The Baby Violin Star Program is designed for ages 4 to 5.
Most violin lessons are one-to-one for focused, personalised guidance. Group activities may be introduced occasionally to support ensemble skills. The Baby Violin Star Program also offers a 60-minute weekly group lesson.
Yes. RAMP Violin Academy offers beginner violin lessons for children and adults, including a dedicated Adult Violin Program with mini-recitals.
Students can be prepared for ABRSM exams, performances, competitions and festivals. The Violin Diploma Course prepares students for ABRSM and Trinity College London diplomas (ATCL, LTCL, LRSM, FRSM), and the DSA Violin Program prepares students for Direct School Admission auditions.
Most students attend once a week. Baby Violin Star lessons are 30 minutes (individual) or 60 minutes (group), Rising Star lessons are 45 or 60 minutes, and DSA lessons are 60 minutes. Each term includes 10 individual lessons and a masterclass.
Students are encouraged to have their own violin for regular practice, and teachers can advise on violin size and rental or purchase options. Violins are provided during the trial class.
