Rhythm Academy Singapore

Rhythm Academy Singapore teaches drums, not voice, despite the vocal tag on its directory listing: its own site is headed Personalised Drum Classes at Hillview and describes fun, stress-free lessons customised to each student's pace and learning style. Founder and instructor Jared Lee is presented as a teacher of more than ten years, formerly at Cristofori and other schools, holding a distinction in Rockschool drums grade 8 and Trinity Guildhall qualifications, and having taught students aged 6 to 53. Lessons run at the instructor's home studio at Hillview or at the student's home, with weekday classes offered for flexibility, and the programme covers music theory, ear training, rudiment exercises, and tutorials on favourite songs. Annual student recitals give willing performers stage experience in front of a live audience. The listing address is 82 Hillview Avenue, with phone 9851 1508, but fees and a fixed timetable are not published on the home page read.
