Shawn Ong Piano Studio – Piano Lessons for Kids & Adults

Shawn Ong Piano Studio is the teaching practice of Shawn Ong, a classical pianist based at 402B Fernvale Lane, Fernvale Acres, whose directory and live listing give the contact number 9822 7245. His tutor profile, which matches the listing by the Fernvale Lane location, records a Bachelor's degree with honours in Classical Music from LASALLE College of the Arts, completed in 2017, following a Diploma in Classical Music there in 2012, and more than thirteen years of piano teaching experience with students aged four to sixty. Lessons are offered for beginner, intermediate and advanced players in forty-five or sixty minute sessions, taught in English and Chinese, with a classical focus and ABRSM examination preparation. His stated approach is to teach students to understand the patterns, spaces and mechanics between notes, chords and harmonies rather than learning by rote memory alone, using varied teaching methods and practising techniques aimed at maximising each student's potential. The same profile reports that all of his students have passed their ABRSM examinations, many with merits and distinctions, and that some have won awards in local and overseas piano competitions. Lesson fees are not quoted here, since the only figure seen sat on a third-party listing page rather than on his own site.
