Sing’theatre

Founded in 2006 by Nathalie Ribette, Sing'theatre is a non-profit professional theatre company, recognised as an Institution of Public Character, whose stated mission is performing for a better society. On stage it is a musical theatre specialist, using the genre to bring social conversations and personal struggles to Singapore audiences, with productions including A Singaporean in Paris, A French Kiss in Singapore, 8 Women, La Vie En Rose, Forever Young and Souvenir. Its Academy, launched in 2014, gives theatre enthusiasts from all walks of life the chance to practise with and learn from professional artists, going beyond technical lessons to expose students to the cultural value of musical theatre and real professional stage experience. Beyond the stage, the company runs hospital and community outreach including MusicalRendezVous@NUH and MusicFest@SGH, aiming to make music and theatre accessible to the most isolated and underprivileged patients. The company is based at 21 Tan Quee Lan Street, #02-10, Heritage Place, Singapore 188108, and the directory phone is 6334 6397. Note that this is musical theatre training, singing together with dance and acting, rather than vocal-only tuition.
