Singapore Handpan Studio

Singapore Handpan Studio is a dedicated handpan shop, studio and school at 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace, #03-07, Singapore 168976. Its own site describes the handpan, also called a hang drum or pantam, as an instrument for soothing, meditative sound, and it offers private and group lessons for beginners through advanced players, alongside workshops, masterclasses and community jam sessions. The regular beginner route is easy to follow: a Handpan Essentials Workshop with Sze every Tuesday at 6:30 pm, a Thursday-morning beginners session at 10:30 am, and a First Touch Workshop every Saturday at 10:30 am, each listed at S$38 on the studio's classes page. The shop stocks handpans from MAG, Battiloro and Sirvan, and the studio can be rented for practice, recording and sound healing. Its academy also offers free learning resources and tutorials for players at different levels, and the studio presents itself as a welcoming community space for handpan players in Singapore. Opening hours on the studio's own site are 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
