Singapore Raffles International Music Festival

The Singapore Raffles International Music Festival, known as SRIMF, is an annual international music competition and festival for young musicians that has run since 2014. Its 13th edition is scheduled for 30 July to 2 August 2027, with events at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Victoria Concert Hall and other venues across Singapore. The festival covers strings, piano, woodwind, brass, percussion, chamber music, instrumental ensemble and orchestra, so it is a broad classical platform rather than a single-instrument school. Alongside the competitions it runs masterclasses, workshops, concerts and cultural exchange, and selected prize winners are invited to perform at a Solo Winners' Gala Concert at Victoria Concert Hall. Earlier editions drew large international fields: the 10th edition brought together more than 2,000 participants from 23 countries. For young players, SRIMF offers a stage, jury feedback and the chance to meet musicians from around the world. Its online solo competition also invites Gold Award winners to a live Winners' Grand Prix Concert in Singapore, where special awards are presented, and all participants receive e-certificates and detailed jury feedback.
