SoMe Music School offers piano lessons Singapore families can attend at The Flow @ Katong on East Coast Road. Run by Singapore Oversea Music Education Pte Ltd, the school opened its Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore in 2022 and teaches piano, violin, ABRSM-focused music theory and choir to young learners.
Lessons and programmes
- Piano classes: personalised lessons in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions, available in person or one-to-one, with basic music theory, history and appreciation built in.
- Violin classes: personalised lessons in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions.
- Music theory: a 60 minute ABRSM-focused curriculum.
- Choir: 90 minute classes for children and adults.
- Practice Partner Program: 25 or 50 minute sessions where an accompanist teacher from the same teaching system guides practice, so parents do not have to supervise it.

The school combines online and in-person lessons and tailors each student's plan to their schedule and needs. Every piano student gets a dedicated learning group chat with one to three teachers who keep parents updated. Students are given chances to perform at recitals, music festivals and competitions, and the school runs holiday camps and a parents' club.
Piano room rental and location
Four classrooms, including one with a Steinway grand piano, can be rented by the hour. The school is at 66 East Coast Road, B1-02 The Flow, near Marine Parade MRT (Exit 2), and is open Wednesday to Monday afternoons and on weekends.
