Looking for adult music lessons in Singapore? Studio 72 is a boutique music school at 24B Circular Road, Boat Quay, teaching adults only. It offers one-to-one lessons in guitar, drums, vocals, keyboard, bass and ukulele, plus group guitar and drum classes, for complete beginners through to advanced players.
Lessons and programmes
- Private lessons: drums, guitar, vocals, keyboard, bass and ukulele, in 30, 45 or 60-minute formats.
- Group classes: group guitar and group drum lessons, from $210 per person per month in a 3-person class.
- Packages: monthly packages of 4 lessons or 3-month packages of 12 lessons, or single ad hoc lessons at $100 (45 minutes) and $120 (60 minutes).
- Trial lessons: a free one-on-one trial lesson for any instrument (usual price $65), or a group class trial at $50 per person.

Studio 72 is built around adult learners. There are no graded exams and no practice diaries, so lessons focus on the songs you actually want to play. The mentors are working musicians with performance experience, and the studio describes itself as part glam rock, part uptown coffeehouse, with jam sessions and organised performances as part of its culture.
Lessons are scheduled around working adults, with weekday evenings and weekend slots available. Prior experience is not needed to start.
