Symphanie Academy of Music

Symphanie Academy of Music is a piano-focused academy whose own website puts personalised teaching at the centre of everything it does. Its published courses cover piano practical and music theory, and the academy states that it works with students of all learning stages and different abilities, rather than narrowing entry to one grade band or age group. The founder behind the academy taught piano for many years in the United Kingdom and Singapore, holds a music degree with piano as the main instrument from the UK, and shapes a finely tuned plan around each student's personality and needs, welcoming parental involvement as part of musical growth. That emphasis on the individual runs through the academy's stated mission: to cultivate the talents of people who are passionate about music and to help every learner reach their utmost potential. Opening hours published on the academy's own site are Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 7 pm, with public holidays closed. The directory lists the studio at Yishun Street 81 and the phone as 8884 5638, which matches the academy's own site; the site's footer, however, gives a Woodlands Rise address, so the exact studio address should be confirmed before visiting.
