Tamagoh Productions Pte Ltd

Tamagoh Productions Pte Ltd is a music production company built around one of Singapore's most widely travelled drummers, and it should not be mistaken for a neighbourhood drum school. Its director, Tamagoh, has been a member of the Jeremy Monteiro jazz band since 1989 and has performed with that band in Japan, the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Europe, as well as alongside jazz figures such as Terumasa Hino, Jon Faddis and Paquito D'Rivera. His credits stretch from the 2010 London Jazz Festival and the Edinburgh Arts Festival to a Sandy Lam world tour in 2016 and a performance at Carnegie Stern Hall with the Singapore Vocal Associates Festival Chorus. Tamagoh also directs the Singapore Street Festival and owns the Vocal Associates Festival Chorus, and he is described as a sought-after mentor to young aspiring musicians from Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Singapore. Recognition includes the COMPASS Artistic Excellence Award in 2005 and the Soka Association Golden Lion Award. The company itself has been registered in Singapore since 28 November 2003 and remains a live company. No drum lesson syllabus, class fee or enrolment route is published for the company itself, so this listing is drafted as a production and performance business with a mentoring strand.
