The Music Works Centre @ Chai Chee

At ESR BizPark in Chai Chee, The Music Works' teaching centre sits at 750 Chai Chee Road, #01-13A, where the same premises double as a showroom for those instruments. Lessons on offer at this branch cover piano, guitar, drums, violin and vocal, and the school says its teachers prepare curriculums to suit learners of every age. On piano, the team includes certified teachers: Parry Yap, with over 30 years in performance and education, works with intermediate to advanced adult learners in jazz, modern and praise-and-worship styles, while Grace Tan and Grace Huang teach classical piano, with Grace Huang's one-to-one lessons for children starting at age 3. Guitar teaching spans classical lessons for beginners aged 6 and up, adults included, and acoustic guitar from beginner to advanced, working on chord progressions, strumming, fingerpicking, scales and how theory applies to playing. Drums, violin and vocal are listed for the Chai Chee school on its About page, though detailed syllabuses for those three are not published. The shop side, an authorised dealer for Casio, Yamaha, Roland and Korg, was a Lazada Top Seller for Music, Books and Stationery in 2021 and 2022. A Smart Start trial of two 30-minute lessons costs $49 (usual price $100) within seven days; regular fees are unpublished — enquire at ask@tmw.com.sg or 6909 3618.
