The Wind Academia

The Wind Academia, at 26 Lorong 27A Geylang, unit 08-00 of Nanyang Pho Leng Hui Kuan, is a community-minded music school whose motto is 'Let's Play Together'. Its group offer, The Band Experience, brings wind musicians of different generations together in ensembles, alongside brass ensembles, pop bands, percussion groups and flute duets, with collaborations involving its supported community band, the Harmonia Ensemble. Individual tuition runs as the Private Studio eXperience, with one-to-one guidance tailored to each learner's goals and pace, and the school's home page also advertises piano lessons, DSA preparation and sound-treated studio rental for practice, rehearsal and teaching. Learners of all ages, from new starters to returning adults and seniors, are invited, and the school says ensemble players can perform in concerts within weeks of starting. Call 8093 3206 to confirm instruments, timetables and fees, which the home page does not list. Studio rental suits solo musicians, teachers, small groups and ensembles, according to the school's site.
