Thunder Rock School

Thunder Rock School sits at 227A Upper Thomson Road, Singapore 574359, and describes itself around performance as much as practice. Alongside regular instrument teaching, it runs an extensive selection of music camps covering performance, instrument, recording and songwriting, open to all skill levels and ages, led by industry professionals and ending in a performance. It also builds workshops for companies, schools and families, from band workshops to team-building sessions where a group can form a company band, with instrument instruction in guitar, bass, drums, vocals and keyboard or piano. That workshop menu is the clearest statement of what the school teaches, and it suits families or teams who want a shared musical project rather than only solo study. Workshop packages are tailored to each group's needs, according to the school's own site, so a company, school or family books a session shaped around its own goals. Opening hours on its own site are Monday to Friday 12pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am to 7pm. Contact is 6456 8722 or info@thunderrockschool.com.
