TJ Piano Lessons is the teaching practice of Joshua, known as TJ, and its Tampines listing gives the address as 31 Tampines Street 34 with contact number 9159 1155. His published approach is personalised: lessons are tailored to the student, whether beginner or advanced, with technique, creativity and musical expression as the stated foundations. The lesson menu on his own site covers sight reading training, keyboard pop lessons for teenagers and adults, music theory, piano lessons for adults returning after a break, piano lessons for kids, graded piano lessons, piano accompaniment and play by ear lessons. That range means a student can follow a graded path or learn purely for leisure; his own site carries parent reviews describing both choices, including children who play for enjoyment without exams and an adult student who reached ABRSM Grade 3 with merit. Lessons are presented as joyful and rewarding, with theory taught through playing rather than as a separate chore.
