Tony Music

At 20 Sin Ming Lane, #05-55, Tony Music teaches violin to children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced players. Lessons are one-to-one or in small groups, and each programme is shaped around the student's pace, style and goals rather than a fixed class script. Teaching blends ABRSM graded pieces with the Suzuki Violin Method, and the repertoire reaches beyond exam pieces into film soundtracks, pop songs, wedding music, classical works and lively fiddle tunes from Ireland, Scotland and beyond. The stated focus is a strong foundation in posture, tone quality and intonation, so that every student can find their own voice on the instrument. Lessons run weekly, with monthly payment after a trial class, and theory lessons can be added alongside violin study; a theory certificate is compulsory before sitting practical exams above Grade 5. Recital opportunities give students stage experience, and home-based lessons are available with a location-based surcharge. Contact is by phone or WhatsApp on 9833 5932.
