Ukulele Movement

Ukulele Movement, at 2 Kitchener Road #02-87, Singapore 200002, combines a ukulele shop with lessons and workshops under one roof, so a beginner can pick an instrument and start learning in the same place. Its own site presents it as a ukulele specialty store, stocking ukuleles and accessories in soprano, concert and tenor sizes, alongside books and related gear, with brands on display including Enya, Kala, Kai and Leho. Teaching sits beside retail rather than as an afterthought: the store runs ukulele lessons and workshops, and it also acts as an official partner of Rockschool, offering Rockschool Ukulele Exam Courses in private and group formats, plus exam books and exam registrations. The Rockschool syllabus pairs graded study with ensemble backing tracks and duet arrangements, giving students a chance to play as accompanists as well as soloists. Beyond individual learners, Ukulele Movement has run ukulele team-building workshops since 2009 for ministries, companies, schools and community groups. Anyone curious about starting can request a trial lesson through its listing, which promises a response within 24 hours, or call +65 8181 5088 to ask about current lesson options.
