Uptempo Music

Uptempo's own website describes it as a school and corporate music and dance provider and an MOE music and dance vendor, which is a different picture from a neighbourhood lesson studio. Its two named programmes are Contemporary Musicians, a five-part curriculum across five popular contemporary instruments that ends with participants performing as a pop band, and Modern Dancers, a five-part beginner curriculum covering Latin Cha Cha, Jazz Funk, jazz, hip hop and Modern Fusion. The site gives the business address as 10 Defu Lane 5, Singapore 539397, while The SG Musician listing records 45 Jln Pemimpin, #08-01 and the contact number 8040 7455, so the two addresses do not agree and callers should confirm which site hosts a given programme before travelling. The directory also groups Uptempo under violin, vocal and woodwind, but those categories are not confirmed by the school's own site, which speaks in terms of school and corporate programmes rather than individual instrument tuition. No lesson fees, age ranges or timetables are published on either source, and the listing page offers a trial-lesson request with a reply promised within 24 hours.
