Looking for music lessons in Singapore and ballet classes under one roof? Viva School of Music and Ballet is a performing arts school founded in 2014, teaching from two campuses: Orchard Gateway on Orchard Road and Kinex Mall in Katong.
Lessons and programmes
- Music: piano, violin, guitar, saxophone, oboe, conducting and group music lessons, with in-person and online options.
- Dance: classical ballet (RAD and Vaganova methods), modern dance and hip-hop.
- Exams and pathways: ABRSM and Trinity College London syllabuses for music, RAD examinations for ballet, plus coaching for Direct School Admission (DSA), scholarships and GCE O Level Music.
- Performances: concerts, recitals, masterclasses and holiday workshops throughout the year.

Children can begin as early as age 3. For violin and piano, ages 4 to 6 is ideal. Trial lessons are offered to assess readiness.

Yes. Trial lessons and classes are offered to assess interest, readiness and fit with the teacher, and to place students at the right level.
Music follows the ABRSM and Trinity College London syllabuses, with flexible tracks for exam and non-exam students. Ballet follows the RAD and Vaganova methods. Exams are optional.
Yes. Adult beginners and returners are welcome for both music and ballet.
Yes. The school offers online music classes, and selected online ballet classes such as conditioning, theory and holiday workshops.
Music lessons typically last 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on the teacher's recommendation, usually once a week.
Please inform the school 24 hours in advance. Make-up lessons are subject to teacher availability.
