Vocal Evolution

Most singers who arrive at Vocal Evolution are not short of talent, the studio argues, but stuck on a specific limiter: straining, shouting, flipping between registers, disappearing in a song, or changing key because a phrase will not sit. Its answer is a four-step method the school names Assess, Address, Advance and Apply, moving from listening for what actually helps or limits a voice, through targeted exercises and feedback, into range, control, accuracy, flexibility and expression, and finally into songs, rehearsals, recordings, karaoke and performance. Coaching is one-to-one, supplemented by workshops and bootcamps plus performance and content-creation opportunities, under founder and coach Kenogi, who says a seventeen-year search through training with voice experts followed his own loss of high notes and vocal strain, and coach Cindy Seah, a singer-songwriter and performing artist. The directory places the studio at 144 Upper Bukit Timah Rd, Beauty World Centre #03-K15, Singapore 588177, with contact number 8285 2200.
