Vocal lab

Kho Jing built VocalLab around Mandarin pop singing, and her own story is the school's prospectus: singing from the age of five, through competitions and live performance to television, including Malaysia's 8TV Hao Sheng Family stage in 2021, before she began teaching formally in 2025. Her method runs in three moves the site names Understand, Feel and Apply, first working out how a voice is actually produced, then turning that principle into an easy, pain-free physical feeling, then carrying the technique back into songs rather than showing off tricks. Lessons take any age and run in Mandarin or English, in person in Singapore or as one-to-one sessions online. The site lists one-to-one lessons of 45 minutes from S$64, duo lessons of 60 minutes from S$52 per person, themed small-group lessons of 90 minutes from S$40 per person, and a 90-minute competition or audition intensive at S$145, with the first trial lesson free subject to limited places. The directory places the studio at Block 28, Bukit Batok Street 52, #01-01 Guilin View, with contact number 8760 0057.
