Voices of Singapore Children's Choir

Formed in 2019 by conductor-composer Dr. Darius Lim, the Voices of Singapore Children's Choir (VOSCC) is a 500-strong ensemble at 13 Stamford Road, B1-20/21 Capitol Singapore. Its programme is structured and progressive: singers are placed by age and vocal development and move through training and performing choirs as they grow, building musicianship, ear training, vocal technique and stage performance. Levels run from Little Singers through Junior, Intermediate and Senior Choirs, Performing Groups A, B and C, and the Concert Choir, with yearly reviews keeping each chorister in the right ensemble. Saturday rehearsals run between 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM, lasting 1.5 to 3 hours by level, across semesters January to May and July to November. Entry is by audition twice a year, and the January 2027 intake is open to singers aged 6 to 17. Stage highlights include a Carnegie Hall debut in 2023, second place in the Senior Children's Choir category at Llangollen in 2024, and a guest-choir invitation to the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival in 2025. Little Singers, for ages 3 to 7, needs no audition and runs in parent-accompanied and independent classes. Term fees on the choir's own site start from $600 for Junior Choirs and $700 for higher levels, plus 9% GST and miscellaneous charges. Voices of Singapore is a registered charity.
