Wigglepods Pte Ltd

Wigglepods Pte Ltd, at Blk 22 Sin Ming Lane, #07-85 Midview City, works from a simple idea summed up in its own line: we sing, we play, we move, we create. It delivers music and movement for infants, young children and adults, mostly through preschools and early childhood settings rather than a conventional instrument studio. Sessions use songs, props and instruments, from scarves and shakers to the ocean drum and parachute, and teachers quoted on its site describe nursery, N2, K1 and four-year-old groups singing the songs again in class afterwards. For early childhood educators, Wigglepods runs ONE@ECDA workshops including Music Making and Developing Musicality in Children 4 to 6 Years in English and Chinese, A Sunny Island Called Singapore, and Music Movement for Toddlers in English and Chinese. It also runs workshops for primary school music and PAL teachers, customised to requirements, covering repertoire and facilitation strategies. Its collaboration record includes the National Museum of Singapore, Children's Museum Singapore, Esplanade Octoburst, the SUSS Early Childhood Education Conference, ECDA conferences, SINDA parent and children's workshops, and Sing, Play, Move sessions at The Artground. Its WiggleTunes programme, described through a partner preschool, is a physical programme where movement builds spatial awareness and coordination while singing, dancing and musical games build confidence and social skills.
