Wire Entertainment

Wire Entertainment is not a conventional tuition school, and its profile should not be read as one. Its own website presents a Singapore entertainment and event-management company built around pop music and original sound, run from 82 Lorong 23 Geylang, #01-04, Atrix, a short walk from Aljunied MRT and opposite Geylang Methodist Secondary School. The premises combine a livehouse performance venue holding 120 standing or 85 seated, a recording studio, and a training room, and the site lists courses in bass, keyboard, songwriting, music production, guitar, ukulele, pop vocal, and drums. Founders Gawin Yixuan, Hong Ziwei, and Liu Yucheng are named on the site, which also describes a collaboration with Universal Music Publishing to develop young songwriters and musicians, plus a resident band that performs at the company's live house. Enquiries go through WhatsApp on 9236 3156, the same number shown on the directory listing. Anyone approaching Wire for lessons should first clarify which courses are currently running, since the company's main business is events, venues, and artist development rather than weekly graded tuition.
