Yang Music School

Yang Music School has spent over a decade teaching music from its Orchard Plaza home at #04-34, 150 Orchard Road, and it pairs that teaching with an instrument business under the same roof. The school describes customised programmes for strings alongside lessons in violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano and more, for students of all ages and skill levels, with personalised lessons and a supportive environment. Its instructors are described as professionally trained graduates registered with MOE AMIS, bringing expertise in child psychology as well as performance, so the stated aim is accomplished performers with good character and social responsibility. Beyond weekly lessons, the school organises music workshops and masterclasses with international professional musicians, and runs the Yang String Orchestra, an ensemble performing classical and contemporary repertoire. The connected Yang Music Shop (International W&Y Pte Ltd) wholesales Eastern and Western instruments, stocks student through professional-grade models, and offers affordable rental instruments for beginners. The school is led by Stella Chen Yang Yang and her team of music teachers.
