CP Music Centre (S) Pte Ltd is a music school at Blk 306A Woodlands Street 31, #04-09 (Fuchun Neighbourhood Centre), teaching students of all ages and levels in a warm, family-like setting. The school was established in February 2003 as Classical & Popular Music Centre and renamed CP Music Centre in 2004.

Lessons and programmes

• Classical piano based on the LCM and ABRSM syllabuses, from Beginner to Diploma level, covering practical playing, theory, aural training, sight-reading and general musicianship
• Pop and jazz piano, with LCM or ABRSM Jazz Piano examinations available from Grade 1 to Diploma
• Pop vocals in a 4-level programme, with LCM Pop Vocal Singing examinations from Grade 1 to Diploma
• Electric and acoustic guitar and ukulele, with LCM or RGT examination options
• Drums and percussion (rock, pop, jazz and Latin styles) with LCM examinations available
• Bass guitar, master classes and workshops, and a music programme for children

Teachers

The teaching team is made up of working musicians. The school is led by supervisor Mr Victor Pillay, a jazz pianist with over 50 years of music and teaching experience, and principal Ms Shelley De Rozario, who has over 25 years of teaching experience. The team also includes teachers for guitar, drums and percussion, and keyboard.
