Flute and Music Academy Pte Ltd

Flute and Music Academy (FAMA) is a woodwind music school offering flute lessons in Singapore, along with clarinet, saxophone and oboe lessons, at Parkway Centre in Marine Parade. Founded in August 2012, FAMA describes itself as Singapore's first specialised woodwind music school, set up by four music professionals to bring quality woodwind teaching, instrument retail and rental together in one place.

Lessons and programmes

• Flute, clarinet, saxophone and oboe lessons
• Piano lessons from Grade 1 to Grade 8, plus piano diploma (performing and teaching) preparation
• Aural and theory lessons (Grades 1 to 8)
• O-Level, A-Level and IB Music support, and MEP music
• A 3 in 1 Woodwind Taster, a 45-minute session for anyone aged 5 and above to try the flute, clarinet and saxophone before choosing an instrument (S$50 per participant)

Trial lessons and lesson structure

FAMA offers up to four trial lessons, charged per lesson. Lessons run 45 to 60 minutes, fees are charged monthly, and each term usually has 12 lessons.
